Its a super exciting time being involved in the Fitness Industry right now. With the Olympics in full swing and the weather starting to improve (a little) there’s something in the air that’s inspiring more & more Aussies to jump off the couch, ditch the tracky dacks and head for the gym! Music to our ears!
As personal trainers and business owners, making the most of every opportunity is paramount. We’re all looking for ways to grow our business, increase client numbers and improve profitability, which is exactly why PTBiz 2012 could not come at a better time.
If there is a common theme I hear amongst personal trainers, its that they want to find ways to work smarter – not harder, and this years PTBiz speakers will showcase ways to do just that.
Heres a sneak peak of what you can expect to see at this years event.
The 2012 line up commences with one of Australia’s leading Dieticians, Matt O’Neill from Smartshape Centre for Weight Management, talking on Nutrition for fitness businesses.
Matt says “A fitness plan without a nutrition plan, won’t deliver the results your clients demand and leaves a huge gap for customers to leave your business. But how do you plug that hole, sustainably and profitably? You could offer general nutrition advice, sell supplements or refer to a Dietitian. But is there a better way? This session explores how nutrition can work for your for your business to achieve more rewards with less effort”
From a financial focus to creating customer connection, Chantal Brodrick (that’s me!) will take you through Key communication elements in fitness marketing. We look at what we can learn from others when it comes to effective marketing communications for our fitness businesses, Who’s getting it right, who’s leading the market with innovation and effectiveness and who’s made mistakes we can learn from. During this presentation, we will explore the key communication elements needed to create customer connection and build your fitness community.
Finally, presenter, Mireille Ryan, speaks on How to Make Money Online Doing What You Love. Mireille says “ Do you want to create a passive income doing what you love? If you run your own business or have dreamed of being your own boss, this session is for you.
